Speaker: Danielle Ofri MD, PhD, is the author of several books, including What Doctors Feel: How Emotions Affect the Practice of Medicine. She will discuss some of the ethical quandaries that arise when doctors write about their patients, using several real-life examples. Dr. Ofri is also Editor-in-Chief of the Bellevue Literary Review and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine, with her clinical home being Bellevue Hospital, the oldest public hospital in the country.
