Lusophone Modernisms

This evening conference explores fundamental aspects of literary modernism in Brazil, Portugal, and Lusophone Africa. Topics include: technology and (under)development; land and place; self and subjectivity; rhythm and dwelling; periphery and semi-periphery; nation and empire. All talks will be in English. Dinner provided.
