Christina Lee on Old English Recipes and MRSA

Speaker: Christina Lee, Associate Professor in Viking Studies, School of English, University of Nottingham. An Anglo-Saxonist who worked on the tenth-century Old English recipe that has been discovered to wipe out much of MRSA (a modern superbug, resistant to traditional antibiotics), Dr Lee will give a paper on her research and on interdisciplinarity in Arts and Medicine.
