Description: Bryan Stevenson, acclaimed public interest lawyer and founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative, will deliver the 2016 Anne and Loren Kieve Distinguished Speaker Lecture at a joint event. Stevenson, author of "Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption," will discuss his life and work. A roundtable conversation, titled "Just Mercy: Race and the Criminal Justice System," will follow Stevenson's address and include Stanford's Jennifer Eberhardt (Associate Professor of Psychology), Gary Segura (Professor of Political Science), and Robert Weisberg (Professor of Law). Award-winning journalist and Yahoo! Global News anchor Katie Couric will moderate the discussion.
