American Portuguese Studies Association 2016 Conference

We would like to invite you to participate in the 10th Conference of the American Portuguese Studies Association, held at Stanford, with the theme, "Uncommon Communities."

Our two guest speakers will be Prof. Abel Barros Baptista, from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and writer Veronica Stigger from Brazil.

Panel/seminar proposals (similar to ACLA) will be received until January 22. Individual Paper proposals are to be sent directly to the chair(s) of the accepted panels, from Feb 8 to March 14. Although focused on portuguese-language studies, interdisciplinary and multilingual panels and papers are welcome.

For more information, see APSA site and the Facebook site for the conference.
