Desiree LaBeaud on Mosquito-Borne Disease Risk and Prevention in Kenya

Since the early 2000s, LaBeaud has devoted her efforts to better understanding the risk factors and long-term health consequences of arboviral infections, including Rift Valley fever, chikungunya, and dengue viruses. Currently, she have two large field projects ongoing in Kenya. As a physician-scientist, she splits her time between research (75%) and clinical practice (25%), including travel clinic experience.
